Tell Me a Story:

Writing Fictional Narratives

A six-week writing workshop

Instructor: Susan Yanos

An introduction to writing fiction, this workshop addresses the characteristics of good stories.  We will talk about how to find an engaging situation and conflict, create memorable characters, handle dialogue, deal with point of view, structure and pace plot, and reveal the story’s landscape.  Come prepared to write!  Although handouts, notebooks, and pens will be provided, feel free to bring your favorite writing instruments.
